Add a reference

How to: Add a Reference
References could be used to access already existing functionality from other Ranorex projects or from external assemblies.
To add a reference, use the context menu item 'Add Reference'. The dialog offers 4 different types of references.
- 'Add Reference' dialog
- Assemblies located within Global Assembly Cache ('GAC' tab)
- Assemblies based on a project within the same Ranorex solution ('Projects' tab)
- .NET based assemblies located in the file system ('.NET Assembly Browser' tab)
- COM based libraries ('COM' tab)
Select now a specific assembly by clicking the 'Select' button and add the selected assemblies by clicking the 'OK' button to your project.
