Speed Up Your Ranorex Evaluation

Accelerate your Ranorex evaluation process and test automation support, by providing us more information about your test scenario. This will help us to further assist you with a short proof of concept.
The following Ranorex files will help us to give you a qualified answer:
  • Three or more recordings generated with the standalone Ranorex Recorder covering some standard scenarios and a good overview of the functionality within your software

  • One or more corresponding snapshot files reflecting the current states of your application under test handling the scenarios mentioned above

The files mentioned above help us to better understand your test automation requirements and technologies used by your application, and furthermore, they enable the Ranorex support team to provide qualified and operational support.

Generate Ranorex Recordings

To generate the recordings described above, open the Ranorex standalone Recorder and create three different recordings following the instructions provided here.

Each of these recordings should cover a typical test scenario within your application (e.g. logging in a user, creating a new account, etc.). Save each of these three recordings as a separate .rxrec file.

Generate Ranorex Snapshot Files

To generate one or more snapshot files corresponding to the recordings, open Ranorex Spy and create the snapshots as shown and described by the following screenshot:

Identfy your application window in the element browser and save it as Ranorex Snapshot file
